That means I will answer my phone with "Gorman," say "dammit" at least three times, and end the conversation without saying "bye" or "later." I'm just putting out this warning to avoid the inevitable second phone call that will start with you saying, "what the hell Box, are you mad at me?" No, I'm not mad. And if you asked that question to Jack, he would break your arm. I'm not quite as ruthless.

In other news, I read an article today in the Troy Times about JamFests. For those who don't remember, those were the drug-free hooplas we went to in middle school (or early high school) at the Aquatic Center on Friday nights. I used to go there with Keith all the time. It's where I got my first taste of what it's like not talking to chicks. Several people who have worked at WSU for a while were really thrilled for them. I thought it was cool, but I guess it didn't really have an impact on me. I guess that's the difference between being a full-time employee who actually gets to know the student-athletes, rather than an anonymous intern. It'll be cool at some point to see a team I work with/for win, and actually think I had something to do with it.

We went to this place called Slows for lunch today. I don't get close-up looks at the old place too often, but every time I do, it's depressing. I want them to tear it down so bad. Tiger Stadium is my favorite place of all time, but it's a shadow now of what it once was. It sucks that a place so important in Detroit history is now just another abandoned building left to rot. I was glad UofM lost last night to Nebraska because it gave me time to reflect just how much I dislike Lloyd Carr and Wayne Gretzky. Screw both of those jokers.

Sometimes when I'm watching wrestling I think about hotdogs. I'm not really sure why I have that connection.

I heard of this sweet band yesterday called Collective Soul. I think they are my new favorite band, replacing Greenstreet. Billy and Phil should really put out a record. They are two of the sweetest showmans this side of the Mason Dixon.

I think Phil is going to post something claiming that this post here wasn't done be me, Doctor Box. Seriously, she was loud.

Go Time is looking to go 8-0 tonight. I had a dream last night about my high school swimming days, which was the closest thing to athletic success I've ever experienced. Maybe that's a good sign that we'll win tonight.

Have you ever listened to a song on the radio that you only sort of like, but you think nothing else is on, and then when it's over you start flipping stations again and get to a song you really love, only it's almost over, and you could have heard the whole thing if you had turned that station on about 90 seconds earlier?

Wow, I should save that for my stand-up routine.
